I think it just is waht it is. Both cars are really nice nd both appeal to different people which is how it's supposed to be. Without competition in the market a company actually won't do as well. In my humble opinion I would go with the Z because the Mustang is WAY too common. Everyone's got 'em. Hell even kids that went to my high school had them. The Z has almost evolved into more of a status symbol really. Nice sleek design lets it reach high top speeds without much shaking. But the new Mustangs really hit the nail on the head with the S-197 platform. It's cool to see the style go back to the original Mustangs.

No it's not, the premium GT is about $31,000 but the grand touring Z coupe is at least $35,000.

yeah but ya see guys...ive raced 06' mustang GT's on the gap...they were right on my ass and within a mile of the twisties i would pull 6-8 cars...but no one on this site seems to give a damn about handling or roadholding

i wouldnt say that the Mustang GT destroys a 350Z but its going to beat it convincingly... its putting down like 30-40 more to the wheels.... doesnt matter what hp ratings are and then of coure more torque....
