The tundra is a 5.7 it's mine and I was driving. Now for the facts the truck was brand new with 700 miles on it. It was a 100 degree day by the trucks thermometer which is accurate and as you can see I needed improvement on the driving. Mainly sleeping at the tree and launching correctly I had the traction control on in the run which accounted for the slow launch. The best run of the day was a 14.9 not a 14.8 as previously stated in 100 degree heat not to bad for a 5680lb truck on digital scales without the 230lb driver.

yeah the vsc will let you get maximum power from the start amd the tow/haul gives you better stiffer shifts

Tundy's will run high 13's. The guy probably left the VSC(Vehicle Stability Control) on. You also have to turn TOW/HAUL on. This setup will knock .7 off of his quarter alone. 14.5 on a double cab. Single cab's are 700lbs lighter.
BigBlackHemi--you don't know what your talking about. I know mikecheat04...SFZ989...and he's totally stock.
I'm doing some mods and should be in the mid to low 13's...adding 150 horses.
I ran a hemi the other day....I can pull 2 truck lengths on you from 60-90 in about 4 seconds.
You'll get schooled soon enough...so I'll go ahead and tell you...I TOLD YOU SO!
PS...Tundy has more HP and Torque than a stock hemi PLUS a 6 speed tranny that will hit 90-95 in 3rd.

Yeah, I have a reg cab. I was bone stock at the time I ran the 14.181 with over half a tank of gas and no weight reductions(spare tire, tailgate, etc.) I do have an intake now and an exhaust on the way. Then I'm off to the track again to run high 13s! I'll post the vid up for ya. BTW, I've seen stock double cabs run as low as 14.6, like I said before, this guy was having problems.
