SVTBOOST, appreciate the info, at least I'm more aware of it now. I'll keep my old man informed, he's got the limited ed. Ron Fellows Z06. That's kind of sad though, I think he should have just left it alone & I don't even think the warranty will cover that. He could have trailer the car instead of driving it!:(

2361d0f, check this out a good friend of mine owns a wrecker company, he just picked up a z06, on I-65 north of Bowling Green who hit a piece of 4x4 on the road, he said it drove the shock or strut, all the way through its mount, letting the whole front of the body come down on the road,he said it had some kind of special after market suspension on it, and the guy wants his car hauled all the way back to Chicago, you know plywood and fiberglass makes good boats, but not cars.
