For N/A engines the best match up between a Ls1 and 4.6..is the Mach 1 version, I think..Ls1's can beat 99 and 01 Cobra's even with a bad driver..but Mach 1's version of the 4.6 comes down to the drivers.

raptor your right, IRS sucks as well. but the thing is...ford puts a good rear end in all their mustangs *8.8) and gm never went any bigger than the 7.5. its not a big deal i was just pointing it out. i love muscle cars man..i would drive a t/a anyday i have one set as my background picture actually

I am a GM AND A Ford guy, but I have a question... why does everyone brag when they beat LS1's if they are so slow? True, true... tha stock rear ends in trans am's suck. How do you like those half shafts btw? Saw it happen twice in 1day. Both of these cars are sick

Supersnake times from a mag.. which is the only thing I can find. NO actual joe plummer times was a 12.5@119 now compare that to hell even a stock 03-04 Cobra was 13.1s and when someone said compare it to a Vette so I org said Zr1 but we know how crazy fast that car is. So MAG times of a ZO6 is 11.5@126. Both Cars are nice by all means. Id rather have the ZO6 by far

So take a ZR1 vs GT500KR is what you are saying? The ZR1 would eat that car for a snack... Not saying it isnt a bad a$$ car and sweet looking. The GT500KR weighs a lot more than a ZO6 does.
