My son and I got to ride in this exact (XP4)Experimental Prototype # 4 of 5 preproduction cars, a few years ago and stil have a "permagrin" ! It was the fastest I have ever gone in a car and by far the most exhilerating experience ever. I got some great up close high res pics after we took it for a spin just wish I would have thought to take video of the drive! Hope Mclaren does it again and beats the competition !

If I'm not misstaken, this IS Top Gear. Remember that Tiff used to work for Top Gear before starting Fifth Gear. This is an old episode of TG.

this car would be at 100mphs then most cars will make it to 60! BMW put their foot down with that engine..BMW! i love it!!! Honda was originaly chosen to build the engine for this car.BMW beat them. i think they engineered the engine and was just looking for something to put it in//lol

Anyone who says the Veyron is superior, remember this, it took 4 more cylinders, 2 more Litres, 4 turbos, 1 more gear, and 4wd to suprass the Mclarens numbers buy 13 mph. This car is much more of a work of art then the Veyron. i can only hope that Mclaren will bring out another fantastic piece of machinery, and surpass the Ultimate aero's record speed. Im quite suprrised to see that no other supercars have gone wihtthe central seating position.
