the c63 is dramatically faster than the m3, this should end all the discussions. their chasis is nearly identical the m3 has more favorable weight distribution i.e. 50/50 as with the c63's 56/44.

96f869f6,, These cars do not get chips or chipped they get retuned via a laptop.

The lady states 0-100kph in 4.5 sec, well, that's 62 mph so 0-60 mph as we do it here in the states is a 4.3 sec blast.

Also, the other AMGs make 507 bhp with this engine. the black series is at 500 bhp in the CLK63. retune the C63 (these are really 6.2 litre engines not 6.3) for $200 and you'll have an extra 30+ bhp and 0-60mph will be 3.8 sec. then throw a set of drag radials into the mix and this car should be good for 3.5 sec 0-60mph

The full-fat version of this engine is the most powerful production V8 for normal purchase, hopefully just a chip should be all it takes to bring the still decent 457bhp up to the 520bhp it has in other AMG63 models. Still a nice car though. :)

and no, Mercedes V8's arent thirsty. the cars that they r put in r extremely heavy. meaning more fuel consumption to get to a desired speed.
