Looks like I'll have to eat my own words. BMW is going to produce a hardtop for the 3 series. It looks like it's a pretty neat setup.

I looked at it real close and it looks like a 335i coupe. My personal understanding was that BMW wasn't going to release 3 series convertibles for another year or so and from what I've seen and heard they are supposed to be traditional softops like all of the previous generation 3 series convertibles.
