Wow thats gonna be my next car. That car is just more proof that domestics are no match for imports. Everyone knows that, though. The people that think imports rule the streets are too conceeded to admit it.

the shelby has lower compression pistons, and manley rods and a forged crank......shes built for the abuse guys and the kb makes less heat than the stock blower with a custom tune i wouldnt worry about it and 740 hp on a supercharged car is beastly

it tunes them on 91 so i would think there is a little more tune in just using higher octane. Also lower compression pistons would help that problem tremendously. Heat is the number one cause of detonation and timing is very very critical in where the heat is created in the motor.
