This seems kind of biased.1.) Valvoline has a close relationship w/ roush compared to the saleen2. the weight on the saleen is wrong, it is only 60lbs lighter3. saleen offers things like a lower gear ratio and a speed sensitive lsd as optional4. the gap in lateral g's was way off5. he didn't seem to be pushing the saleen very hard6. the saleen would have probably hit its limiter in the high speed section7. even though i presume he's a pro, he has trouble with a gearbox set up like a four speed with an additional od gear w/ a hydraulic clutch8.these cars shouldn't be that far apart on a single lap on any track, even with different sized rimsboth cars are great, but that's about as fair as having a court appointed attorney against someone who hired one... maybe h2h will do one or something

AWD, Roush hp & tq. are more close to the rear wheel power compared to the Saleen b/c they usually dyno that in process of production & the disadvantage of Saleen was 20 in. rims= ruins the tq.& special brembo breaks also lower speed a little bit b/c of parasitic drag!

I'd take either one really. I really like the blackjack roush.

What rear end gear does each of these cars have? I figured the Saleen being 300lbs. lighter and a bit more power it would've won the 0-100-0 test. It's also weird that in the 2nd test the Saleen's corners G's were 1.20, and in the road course test it barely pulled over 1G. To me it just seemed this guy was more about the Roush from the get go. But me personally I'd take the Saleen.. it look's 100% better, than a basic looking GT with a body kit and racing stripe in the Roush.

the 20s kiled the Saleen....

The only drawback was the interior seats w/ no standard leather (optional) & cheap looking breaks compared to the Saleen, but performance wise, Jack Roush did a great job! He could have sliced in a little bit more hp & tq. though for some cosiderable bragging rights!

So if they pulled then straight off the Dealer's lot, do they now put them back on the lot to sell after hammering them for hours on end? Does the new buyer know what it was put through? Saleen looks better.
