Yeah, I was spinning 1st and 2nd too, wasn't till hitting third at around 80 that I finally hooked up... Seems like I got about one season out of these kumhos, not bad (roughly 5800miles).. next year im going with tire warmers... letting the car sit for an hour killed me..
