Some of the best racing the world has ever seen. Makes modern rally racing seem tame. I'd kill to own a RS200 streetcar.

those cars are awesome and the I love the unique audi sound. Seeing this video makes me sad because many people died in group B rally cars and because we will never see again those monsters competeting like in the 80's.

WOW Much more exciting compared to day's WRC. That amount of horsepower makes it much more interesting.

Group B had few restrictions on technology. Weight was kept as low as possible, high-tech materials were permitted, and there were no restrictions on boost, which turned out to mean almost unlimited power.The top few cars, Audi S1, 205 T16 E2, Delta S4, RS200 were said to have 500-600hp on tap upon the banning of GroupB half way through 1986 season.If they were not banned then Ford with the RS200 were releasing over 650hp with a new evolution model of they're car, this would have only made the other manufacturers do the same.Audi finished off they're rallying history with 700hp Pikes Peak evolution model.

What were the specs on the cars? Weren't they over 500hp?
