It's bad for everything but if you're racing then it can give you an edge.

i heard it's not good for your clutch. or something like that

Well IMO...short throw's are nice because they have that "locked" in feeling...at least for me. Give the Pro 5.0...that's what I have, and its sooo nice

shifter only makes it more clicky and shortens it and i tell you what, throw an aftermarket "handle" on your car, it will be just as short. some people say that stock shifters aren't transmission friendly and i don't know if thats true but stock shifters are way smoother than any aftermarket shifters and the smoother it is, the better you can slam it without getting that "hitting wall" feeling. I have tried a lot of different shifters and I still love stock shifters. as you can see, i can still bang gears with MGW but I can do it better with stock shifters.

are you serious man? ive never used mgw, but that just doesnt sound right. you should try the b&m pro ripper.

MGW way too clicky IMO, stock shifter is smoother and lets me slam gears harder compare to MGW.

Stock shifter FTW for banging gears? You don't like the MGW? I've always heard good things about MGW's.
