Bro!...you just dont get it do you?? Almost everyone on here realizes that there are 2 versions of the TSi. Some people just dont feel the need to state the "awd" part unless asked specificaly. I realize that as a die hard dsm guy you may find this a bit annoying but as stated earlier, its dsms fault for not badging the AWD versions with something other than TSi. This really isnt a big deal and I hope after 50,000 posts that you'll realize that! Hel l, I had an L-82 corvette at one time but I didnt feel the need to call it that everytime I talked about it. I just called it a Corvette. Now I'm sure some avid corvette junky would probably get a bit purturbed about it but I dont think he would spend weeks of his life argueing senslessly about it. I mean, if this is the only place where this issue arises, and it aggrivates you that bad, then just go back to your dsm forums and avoid this one.Then you can just move on with you life and be happy . ;)

I own a DSM, talk about DSMs, read about DSMs, watch videos on DSMs, look at DSMs every day. This is the only place I've ever found online where people don't state whether or not a turbo Talon is AWD or not. The only place. It's dumb, and if you're not a DSMer, than you don't know what you're talking about. Everywhere you read about the entire Talon lineup, it states the difference between the TSi and TSi AWD, yet people can't comprehend it on this board.

the question is not "why would they not", the question is"why didnt they". Look bro, its not my fault that the dsm guys didnt feel the need to make a whole different badging for the awd talon like they did for the eclipse, if you want to take out your aggression on the matter then why not write them and ask them why they didnt have a "TSx" badge or something?Or why they chose to stick a vinyl "awd" sticker by the back fender instead of making it part of the TSi badge. Nobody here had anything to do with it and although this issue seems to consume your very being, it isnt the end of the world.

No I wouldnt call a gst a gsx because its badged as a gst. Now if there had been an awd gsx and a fwd gsx and the gst badging didnt exist, then yes, I would refer to the fwd turbo as a gsx(same situation as a TSi)

Whether awd or fwd, they are both, in fact, TSi's. You sir have some serious anal retentive issues.

Base models had a 135-horsepower, dual-overhead-cam 4-cylinder engine. A turbocharged and intercooled version of that engine, rated 190 horsepower, went into the TSi. Topping the line, the TSi AWD had both the turbo engine and full-time 4-wheel drive.
