whats your point 989309? you forgot to mention that the cobra gives up 65 cubes to a stock ci ls1 (346-281). so what it has a blower and go ahead and put one on a factory ls1 and see what you get..... a pile of scrap metal in the oil pan with any boost at all. dont get me wrong i have alot of respect for the ls1 but the 03/04 cobras are in a different class. you can make 800 plus rwhp with stock engine.... can you say that about the ls1? didnt think so. the turbo cobra would have had the t/a covered with the right tune and driver.

to be honest the the 383 w/turbo or supercharger and 125 shot, waste just about anything, a stroked ls1 it is no joke as it is , just motor, throw in some boost and nitrous, and u got urslef a car knowone can really with think about, the 383 jus had nitrous, the cobra had blower, and nitrous and lost it goes to show ya, so people who dog on ls1 sayin i see cobra's waste ls1's, obviously they dont supercharged from factory like cobras do, 04 cobra 389 hp supercharged eaton, 02 cammaro or ws6 ls1 315 hp or more , and the cobra has 389 with a supercharger, supercharger add over between 100 -150 hp depending on psi, that means the cobra with out its supercharger it would have like 275 or 280, its basicly a mach 1 with out the blower, the ls1 blown, would probably end with over 400 hp if it came blown from factory
