All I can say is that we were at, what - 120-130? - and I was seriously running out of gear. All I can say is that I'm glad we were running into traffic by then! ;-)

if u notice i start to walk pretty good in the last couple of seconds of the race, but that was right when GP had to shift to 5th, a gear which is pretty much worthless for racing in the mustangs. in the lower gears it was real close, and if it had been from a dig he probably would have had me.

Actually GP, i think that was my car, if u listen the sound of the shifts corresponds with the camera shaking in my car, and when i let off at the end u hear the motor die at the same time. u let off a half second later.
ur car is loud as crap, but from inside the TA i guess the camera only picked up my car.

Also, the T/A has better gears up top, so as we were getting to 120-130, I was starting to run out of gear with my 3.73's and I think the Bird has 3.42's or something like that. Just something to think about. If we have a chance, we may go from a dig but the GT is for sale since I just bought an 03 Mach 1 (dream car)

It was the stang you were hearing through a rolled up window, not the T/A. That car is one of the loudest street cars I've heard in a while. It snorts pretty good.

Dead even is right. I thought it was a good run for a cammed and bolt on 306 versus a lidded and catback 346. Those ls1's are no joke from the factory and they get pretty rank the instant you start modding them. I thought the Horse did OK...
