Water was from an overflowing drainage ditch ... Think 3 bikers wiped out on it before they unblocked it.

The rear facing knee cam is interesting. Looked like a nice run out, apart from the water running across the road in the twisties. That'll get ya b*lls in ya throat for a sec :)
