i think hotdoggy421 hit the spot. any vehicle will be reliable for a long time with regular inspections and mantainence. it also helps if you have mechanical knowledge to diagnose small problems before they turn big i.e. U-joints, suspension bushings, engine noises, gear whine, etc.

Advise for all vehicles owners, regularly check your front end. If is it greasable, grease it. For those that don't do their own maintenance, when ever you get your oil changed, pick a place that can give the front end/suspension a good once over.

No I'm trying to be cool, I'm not going to do that. Anyone is welcome to comment and in fact there are some people where we've just come to a point where we've agreed our experiences were different or agreed to disagree. However, there becomes a point where it becomes psychotic brand loyalty. I mean I like my SVT and my Tahoe a lot and they are way better than 3 new different Chrysler's I've owned. People have trashed Ford and GM in videos, in forums and on sites (as I've admitted and stated before I realize all autos have issues and I'm not claiming otherwise although there's a point where it becomes ridiculous), but I've never taken the time to come in like captain save a ho and try and make excuses for, apologize for or stick up for a company or even come in trying to teach the person the basics of life like "all cars have recalls", "all cars have problems". Anyway, whatever, let's move on and be done with that same old sorry shit.
