ford does make a v8 DOHC engine(cobra). technically it is a quad cam but it has 2 cams to each side.and yes dual cams are better than sigle but they are not stronger. dohc engines can be tuned better because each cam can individually be tuned when to open and close the valves as a sigle has to be tuned to both jobs. OHV pushrod engines are weaker and require good valve springs and lifters. They cannot rev like overhead cams.

I'm tired of reading but i can't help it. LOL why do I insist on reading these dumb post? Well its true that single cams are weaker then dual. Thats why V engines are not good for racing. Domestic people came up with V engines so they can'tt do dual cams on there engines. Because of space problems. They should really think about a way tto do duals on V engines. Don''tt know if there is one but sure there isn'tt. Sounds nice but I don't like the way the V8s sound with after market cams. When its ideling its annoying and shakes the car. Its just not something that I would want on a daily driver. On the other hand the supra is quite and fast when it hits the gas. And it sounds nice as hell when its on the gas.
