"Forgot to mention.. 160728.. 10 pounds is nothing for an ls1 if it's built. In fact, a stock block can handle 10 pounds with meth injection and a GOOD tune although that's pushing the outer limits from what I hear. (around 500 at the wheel)"

STS's website recomends only 8psi on bone stock configuration, but that also depends on the size of turbo. If you're going with a small one, you could push more, but going with a large 100mm is just asking for a tow home @ 8psi. =\

Don't forget that the read end in the Camaro and T/A's are s-10 rear ends (seriously!) and they don't like much abuse past stock HP.. sometimes that's even too much.
Also might want to look into additional fuel requirements @ 7+psi

Of course the V8 is pushing more air.. that's what we've been trying to tell all of the domestic bashing import guys. Their excuses are what we've been saying this whole time..

by built I meant just the top end, the pistons, rods, and crank are all stock. He has ls6 heads, ls6 intake, ls6 cam with 1.8 rockers, right around there. When he was n/a he had ported ls4 heads, the torquer 2 cam, 11 or 11.5:1 compression with an ls6 intake making 413 to the wheels I think and ran an 11.4.

This is one of my favorite videos here at streetfire. This just shows you what happens when you have an ls1 turbo set up and TUNED right. Still wondering what specifics there are with the Trans Am... Is it stock block and wheres the turbo.. rear mount? Anyways.. Supra just didn't have it, even with 21 pounds... sounded cool though.
