I think the Vortech kit has been discontinued but if you go check out the forced induction section of newcougar.org. You will find a thread about a new supercharger kit that is getting close to being finished.

Yes it is a vortech but I don't think they sell the kit any longer so you would have to pick it up used. Good Luck!

What kit is it? A vortech? Im either doing a nitrous set up or a blower, Im tired of turbos.

It is a bolt on kit for the early cougars which had a return style fuel system. It involved reflashing the computer and buying an updated jackshaft. Other than that just the obvious snip here and tuck there under the hood to get everything to fit. You could do the same with your car as long as it is not an automatic and just go with and injector upgrade and dyno tune it. If you have more questions let me know as I know this isn't as in depth as I could get :).
