I believe that is a twin turbo V10 against a quad turbo W16. That's FOUR turbos and 16 CYLINDERS compared to TWO turbos and 10 Cylinders! Even you can do the math. Where is your foreign engineering now? Also another comparison McLaren an engineering marvel for all car enthusiasts and tech junkies a like. the McLaren F1 GT was made in 1994 well over 10 years old it has a very small engine and makes 627hp. the record set was at 244mph STOCK. im saying this to say is, if the viper was engineered correctly with such a huge engine and still being made as of today should have EVERY SINGLE production car today beat without mods, except for the bugatti Veyron 16.4. Te car is beautiful and immensly fast. just snatched the standing mile record at 220.9mph IN ONE MILE! thats insane. But this all started because no one could give the supra respect from the otherside. it has half of the engine and still keeps up and in many cases beats vipers even turboed vipers! And im saying that you have to damit that japanese cars are very well made indeed, and im 100% sure that if someone in germany, italy, japan, or even england were to make a car with 8.4 liters it would have waaaaaay over 600hp stock.

okay I never said supras are sloiw by any means they are most definitely the fastest street cars out there no doubt. But is just so happens that they have the largest engine of any presently made street car as well. I mean how easy is it to make huge power if you have the biggest engine out there. Im not saying that its slow but to put a huge engine in a huge car isnt hard, it does not showcase any technology that dodge has. Okay, since we're talking about engineering quality let's take the caparo T1, it has a 3.5 liter V8 and makes 575hp now thats a hugely efficient engine, and obviously took some thought to make such an efficeint engine. even the integra Type-R stock no power adders has 220hp out of a little 2 liter K20. that car with 8.4 liters if engineerded correctly should have ATLEAST 840hp without mods. thats what im saying.

But I guess these europeans have "no creativity, or skill" either. Look, cookiecrisp, there are several 1,500 whp vipers. And 1,000whp vipers are more and more common every day. In fact, according to IRS, the worlds fastest full-weight 6 speed CAR is a 1,700 hp UGR viper running just over 20 PSI. That amount of boost in a supra, regardless of the setup, will not put out HALF that power. Vipers are impressive, and gorgeous looking machines. And by looking at the comments, you are obviously the minority on this thread. If you do not like vipers, than go look at other videos. Also there is a reason why no other automaker such as pagani, ferrari, lamborghini, or porsche using a 8.4 liter engine. They are all about technological advances and engineering creativity, which is why they are putting the F1 paddles shifters in their cars. In which dodge has no engineering creativity or design at all. their whole philosophy is put a huge engine into a tank and call it a sports car. there is nothing special about dodge or the viper at all. wow king cobra is obviously lacking that intellextual prowess that was previously stated. when i said 600hp i obviously wasnt talking about tuners modifying it after the fact, i was talking about from the factory, hence the refeerence to 8.4 liters instead of 8.3. And you obviously missed my point litereally ANY auto maker out today can throw a 8.4 liter engine in a car and call it a sports car. hyundai can do that, shoot even Geo can do that. it takes not talent whatsoever to make a high HP car with 8.4 liters.
