carbs are way out of sink,popping lean,sounds like idle jets are a little small,airs to big.just my opinion,had many dual webers on vw's.very nice that you put a subaru engine in,i always wondered how they would move with a honda or diff engine pumpin some more ponies then the vee dub motor.nice work.

hey where can I get more info on this beetle? The carbs on an ej.. ignition? cams? How did you carb standard it? It does sound like something is way off... but interesting nonetheless.
