I've witnessed that actually, but I honestly think it was because the charger I was racing had a single female passenger, so def under 200 pound difference between us. I honestly think they are indistinguishably different speed wise, if you have the same driver in each car with the same amount of fuel etc

Correct me if I'm wrong but the 300c srt8 is faster than the charger srt8 because of the weight.

I have to agree with schism427.

2005 c6 has 400hp and weights 3,179 pounds

2005 g35 has 298hp and is 3416Lbs

Thats 102hp more then a G and 287 lbs less, unless you have Juice and lots of it maybe 150 with other bolt-ons, and if thats the point GOD BLESS your poor VQ35DE.

That pretty much makes sense, just like the vid. You are probably about 4 tenths faster in the 1/4 with the SRT.

I have a 300c srt8. My buddy has an 06 Z with intake and runs a straight pipe down it to a single exhaust. He also has a cut out up front right where the intake is to force air in. The closest our races have ever been is me winning by four lengths. His best races are from a dig, because he launches hard and I have trouble getting traction (also I need new rubber all around), but by the time I hit mid second its all but over.

no offense to you man. but your wrong. plain and simple. as for your experence, if it actualy did happen, either the vette was not raceing or something was wrong with it. before i sold my ls1 camaro ss i toyed with stock 350z's all the time and i got ripped hard in 3rd gear by a c6 with only a lid. and besides that bro, when raceing a c6 not only is a 350z 100hp and 140tq in the whole but your also 94 lbs fatter. its not just me physics says you loose too...and last i heard 350z are awsome but still incapable of breaking the laws of Newtonian physics

An srt pulls on an older Z, not rapes, but pulls. A new one would most likely be side by side.
