A stock srt-4 vs a stage 2 cobalt, no wonder the outcome. Have the ss cobalt race a modded SRT and see the outcome. Like Evo84ever said all he needs is a Stage 1 and a waste gate to up the boost to make this a race.

ok first of all good race guys. and second bigjon your an idiot!!!!! putting a bov on a stock turbo doesnt hurt the performance. that quote you posted is from vwvortex and is pointed towards vws and audis dumbshit. vws and audis run off a maf sensor and srts run on map sensors. with a maf sensor the air is ment to be recirculatted by the diverter valve, if you put a bov aon a maf sensored car is messes up the air readings. cars that run map sensors are able to blow off the hot air into the atmoshere. read up before you make posts acting like you know it all. and by the way where you wrote about stage 1 it doesnt say anything about calibrations for the bov it says it gives it more definition.

sold my 05 evo 8 330AWHP, for an 06 balt ss/sc, i test drove both (ss/sc vs srt4), i researched both, truth is the srt may be faster in a str8 line by a snatch hair in the end, but the balt is 30hp less stock, keeps up with if not beats it from the factory (str8 line), and runs better around a track, the srt shouldve went 2 door or awd, if its lighter as a 4 door.... shouldve been amazing as a 2. love how people can argue apples to apples, and yes it wouldve been a closer race had the mods been even, wtf was with the srt not wanting to go from a dig? brake somethin? lol its not awd//// just rev it up and let the clutch out, the srt should be able to handle the whopping 240hp your running thru it

ok this is from VW vortex, all VW turbos have a built in Diverter valve which does the same thing as a BOV, the diverter valve releases pressure just not into the atmosphere like a BOV does, in all honesty a BOV does help a turbo by releasing excess gas in the turbo and reducing backspin on the turbine thus increasing turbo and engine life.
