I'm the owner of the type r. once i tore this motordown to my surprise all that was there was stock internals and a block gaurd, it had a type r head. yes it was on 11 psi at the time of this race. for you that dont know this z06 was on spray. so if you ask me thats not to bad of a race considering what was truely done to these cars.

thats what i was thinking on the stock internals b/c why build the motor and only run the same psi that you could stock

just to let evry 1 know the type r ( b20) was internally stock..all it had was a block guard and head studs..thats all..and the z06 has an intake and some extra steroids call (nitrous)...if people would pay attention to this guy..he had videos of his nitrous pulls b4 he posted this...so a z06 with intake and nitrous should beat a stock b20 on 11 psi...

Ya and your point? Ive seen my uncles bud w/ a turbo fox runnin 27psi and totally owning everything on the street. Vipers,supercharged vettes.Hes race his fair share of turbo imports. The only person to give him a run was a single turbo supra w/25psi. Not sure what turbo but hes also smashed a 10 sec crx makin 35psi. Who ever has the most money will win usually but in his case, about 10k spent and it isnt that bad.

I have a fully built h22 motor running 30 psi, boost control. I raced a z06 only using 12 psi and whooped his ass, that is not a built b20.

looks like somebody didn't get their 'Fully Built' monies worth. I'd complain to the manager.

I'm not a fan of rice, but I know how hard Z06's pull and that Type R held it's own pretty well.
