A few things...The Vette is Z06 5.7L(LS6) correct? It is 405hp/400tq stock, with drivetrain power loss of an average MT it seems it would dyno around 360whp/360wtq unless the engine is underrated (many said it is). I am not sure the gain heads and cams provide, but I speculate at least 70whp/70wtq, any other mods?...The Benz (5.5L V12) has 493hp/590tq stock, yet it also weighs around 1.3K lbs more (3100 VS 4400) and is an auto. I would speculate around 400whp/475wtq, 485/585 with renntech tune...The Z06 runs as well if not better 1/4 than the SL600 stock for stock, with the huge weight difference of course more output is needed for equal performance. 50whp/150wtq would be a good advantage, but the Vette has much better power-weight ratio...Also it looks as if the Benz was pulling first run but had to let off for traffic? I want to see an SL65 renntech upgraded with larger turbos and intercooler(s)! Good job to all, quick cars.

P.S. sorry, but as a FACT your 430rwhp last gen. Z06 would not beat a fully upgraded SL600 since it couldn't beat an even heavier S600.....you have a nice car, but, this is a FACT. If your ever in Houston I'll be happy to prove this to you.

What the fxxx, I own an S600 modified by Renntech, (The SL600 is also a bi-turbo by the way) and this race seems bogus. Just so you know I'm an absolute a car nut and love and respect all the cars in the video and would Love to own them all. With that said my , heavier than an SL, S600 Renntech has no problems beating a new Z06 (this is from experience at a 30 roll and a 65 roll) and shouldn't have any problems pulling on a GT (my next car). I doubt the SL600 was a fully upgraded Renntech, maybe just a tranny upgrade or better yet just the lowering module, lol.

Hey why don't you do some research!! your saying an SL600 is a Bi-Turbo. Its not! the 65 is the bi-turbo you ass. Plus I am more than certain that my car could kill yours by a huge margin. Considering the fact that the 600 has no turbos and mine does makes a huge difference. SO race a real "Bi-Turbo"

Although you can say the GT barely beat you and he spent 150k and u payed yada yada yada, the race wasnt over. Had you kept going , the z06 would've been at least a bus length back. Ford - First and best auto maker.
