I was there that day and saw the run but what the video doesn't show is that the blast from the Hydrogen Peroxide powered rocket engine blew out every window in both gantries across the raceways. He shut it down at about the 300 yard mark. It was awesome. ~ Chris N

I would like to let you guys know that Sammy has went faster than that 3.5 @386mph I am a close friend of Sammy's here in Florida. Sammy rented Miami/Hollywood Dragway had the news there and guiness there and he missed it by 1/1000th of a sec. We had a party for him and everything. He said I am going to blow it out of the water at the "Show" Well to make the long story short He did it that Weekend get these #'s 2.87 Sec@398mph and anybody who knows his family and friends will confirm my story and my sister was born 10 days later 3 weeks pre mature, mother was at the line in the duelly tow vehicle when Sammy Left! I will surely Miss my "Uncle" Sammy.

Holy S..t!!! That was so quiet before launch. Oxygen powered. I am wonder, if they still do this kind of cars today.
