man guys its really easy. fox bodies are cheap, easy to tune up, and light for a mustang. thats why they are so commonly seen at drag strips. supras are beautiful, and have great handling and all around performance with a solid engine which makes it a very respectable car. but they are semi rare and more expensive to buy and tune. i would love to have a supra as a daily driver and a fox body as a drag strip monster. stop bitchin about american this, ricer that and just look at the facts. this is all bench racing anyways. how many of you guy actually own a 500hp+ car. i wish.

that would depends on what turbos the supras running. stock a TT would obv loose to a cobra. but this is streefire.net, so lets not talk about stock to stock.

Umm no. The price for a decent twin turbo supra runs between 25K and 30K I can pick up a 2003 SVT cobra for 19K which BTW the cobra is faster. So Ford>Toyota.

It depends on what you have under the hood moron. The supra was a better built car in this case, but there is another vid on here somewhere where a stang beats a supra in the 1/4 so get off you ricer high horse and get in touch with reality man. FYI the best time a bone stock supra has ever gotton bone stock is 13.5 for a mustang it is 12.9 and the is a 2003 SVT cobra. Also that stang in the vid is a fox body mustang odds are the guy spent less money on it than the guy drving the supra did on his car.

Supra is very well rounded. You will see more Mustangs at NASA and SCCA events though. Probably has to do with cost and the amount of 'Stangs out there. A well prepped Fox body with a good driver can suprise you on the road course.

Both cars were beautiful, except that stupid body kit on the supra. Don't know why everyone is getting so amped up. Skunk2 made a 9 sec n/a 4 cyl, Royal Purple, Titan, and many people use the 2jzgte. And if you ever went to the out laws you'll see tons of 8 sec. street driven stangs. My point is anything is capable with time, money, and they right ppl. Just enjoy the vids!
