I love people who try and compare stock performance of a vechicle to that of a modified stock car... Apples to oranges. the fastest time I've seen posted for a bone stock gt500 is 12.26. I've seen regular c6s post very very close times to that. Best time for a new z06 down to the stock tires is 11.31 @ 127.52mph with a 1.90 60' time. going to take some mods for the almost 2 ton GT500 to match that.

its a nice car , and granted if you could shave off about 700 pounds the performance #'s would be impressive . I wonder what it will be like when the supercharger is pullied . I still prefer the 03-04 terminators . Maybe we could drop a 07 cobra engine /w supercharger in a 03-04 cobra .

did anyone notice the speed up in the early start? I mean look at the way the red van moves. I'll just wait some more months and see a few GT500's by myself. This proves nothing, no numbers, no burnouts, no engine showing, bleh.

SO a "standard" C6 weighs 3,200 lbs and has 400 hp, and 3,200 / 400 = 8 horses per pound. And a GT500 weighs 3,800 lbs and has 500 horses, and 3,800 / 500 = 7.8, so which one has a better power to weight ratio? Mustang-7.8hp/lb, C6-8hp/lb. Thats such a tough question, I cant decide which number's higher, 7.8, or 8. It just goes to show that people that love mustangs are DUMB because 90% of the posts on here are wrong, and the others, are in favor of chevy.

NO it does not, like i said before, its wieghs 3,892lb it has a better power/wieght ratio than a C6 Vette and its cheaper
