well i think ferrari is import too. So dont talk bad about import. Cuz i know it will spank a vette anywhere, anytime, on street or even on track. For those shiethead compared a vett to a honda, make sure which honda you talking about. Cuz i'll take a honda NSX or acura NSX ova any vette. I personally like corvette alot too. So when u guys compare cars, please compare the class of the car and SPEC so we will have no problem in here cursing each other out about which car is best........also respect for the Drift King... Too bad you don't know ANYTHING about corvettes.

1. The LS1 in my 0 1' C5 Corvette weighs LESS than the SR20DET in my 240sx.

2. The LS1 in my C5 can fit in an FD Rx7 and only adds 60lbs to the weight of the car.

3. My C5 gets me 25-30mpg on the freeway depending on if I 'm averaging 85mph or over 100.

4. It's very very very easy to m ake reliable, but crazy horsepower out of an LS1/2/6/7 engine

5. P air up a Z06 Corvette to any of those cars, and watch them get waxed in AN Y form of racing.

I own a 90' 240sx w/ S14 SR20DET, 93' R1 FD RX 7, and an 01' C5. That C5 is superior to them in everyway, in STOCK FORM. Add sway bars, bilstein shocks, and dump the runflat tires, and it's not even a contest in handling.

hey, Im Japanese, and I can explain a bit.. First of all, he is not comparing those cars for overall performance. He is explaining which car would be the best for Gmma Cycle Sport Center (One of the Japanese hilly racing track). He never said s2000 is the best car in the world. For Corvett, he said, the car has so much torque, and a great car for bigger track, but the body is too big for tack. Same kind of things for other cars. Usually cars are made to fit in home country, and Japanese cars are made to be fast on hilly twisty course like this. Anyway, I saw some misunderstandings, and I just wanted let you guys know the truth.. Man, he is a great racer.. Dont make fun of him. If you could understand him, he probably said something like "the Corvette is the best driving machine in the world, but it's too big for us over here in Japan." All the cars he put up on top were small a$$ cars. There's no way that I would rate a BMW, Mazda, or Honda over a Vette. Now, the Lotus is a pretty bad a$$ car though. Maybe their way of showing ratings is backwards from us. The bottom is the highest score and the top is the lowest. Or was this guy rating it for drifting? Then I would understand a little bit because the Vette handles great.
