Woooo, viper FTW. I dont see why everybody denies that the viper isnt the fasted (1/4 mile time/acceleration wise) production car made when modified. Seems to me there is a limit that a car can make with the stock block and the bigger the block, the more potential power. As everybody knows the weight distribution on a viper is better than a supra for straight line performance and the main reason that with the same ore more hp than a viper still gets beat.

That supra was nowhere close to beating that Viper.. The second camera angle from inside the Viper says it all; They both clearly knew the Viper was faster, which is why you hear the Viper driver yell to the Supra to just go for it. The Supra got a huge jump and the Viper didn't get on the gas for almost a full second after the Supra.. And once you hear that Turbo in the Viper kick in, the Supra got blown by so fast its' door almost got sucked off. Bottom line, Big turbos on Big engines will always have more potential than Big turbos on Small engines. I don't think you want to argue that

supra>viper anyday with the same or close hp numbers

ya, thats how you kno a supra is better than a viper. when it have a lot less hp, and is that close to winning
