BOV = Blow off valve lets out the extra air pressure between shifting gears so that you dont over load your engine and Waste Gates are sorta the same but they keep you from over loading your turbo and creating reverse pressure.

its called "turbo surge".. sounds sick.. but isnt so good for the turbo. nun the less.. great video.. good driving..
