that's in cali , everythiung out there is over-priced but i have no problems with chevy's. i love the silverado's and corvette's but id prefer a srt8 jeep over a tbss. if you plan on getting a srt8 jeep most peope dont really care about the gas mileage , all they want is the horsepower. what's a t-type ? im not all mopar , i only like jeeps.

I live in San Diego and the Jeep dealers will not budge off MSRP and the Chevy dealers deal at invoice (more than a 10K difference at the time). When I looked for a grocery getter for my wife a Jeep that couldn't tow, rode rougher than a EVO, got worse gas mileage than a viper, and had a back seat the size of a camry just seemed like a stupid buy. So I saved some money and got a bigger vehicle that could tow, got better gas mileage, and was much better to mod. Untill a SRT-8 Jeep runs 10.2 I'll stand by my statement that the LS2 is far better to mod than the 6.1 HEMI. I could really care less how fast my wife's TBSS is becuase if I wan't to go fast I'll pull out my 10 sec T-Type. You keep swinging on those Mopar nuts bro...

ha keep telling yourself that , i go out to the track every week and see tbss run mid to high 14's. Ive looked at srt8 jeeps because i thought about buying one and there 43 to 45k here in florida. i dunno where you live but you have no clue what your talking about. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/SRT-Jeep-vs-Mach1-EVO-IX_164187.htm watch this video and compare. i know a guy that has a sc srt8 that runs low 11's and high 10's and he only running 7psi. fastest all motor srt8 runs mid 11's.

I've done my research as well, ON THE TRACK. Not on Edmunds. Go to a chevy dealership and see what you'll get a TBSS for and then go to Jeep and see what you'll get a SRT-8 for. I don't need to watch SRT-8's racing on-line when I can call my buddy up and race his. I'm speaking from experience and not what I've read on-line. Check out dragtimes.com or tbssowners.com to get a real world idea of what a 2WD TBSS will run (keyword 2WD) The fastest TBSS out there runs high 9's and the fastest SRT-8 Jeep runs a 11.4, there is more potential in the LS2 than the HEMI.

"Our TrailBlazer, which stickered for $37,955, accelerated to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds and ran the quarter-mile in 14.4 seconds at 96.3 mph" i got that off edmunds.com , i thought they run mid to high 13's. ive done my research , i know alot about srt8 jeeps. maybe you should go watch some video's of srt8 jeep's racing. $43590 is for a new srt8 jeep gc

If you had done any research you would know that the TBSS weighs significantly less than a Silverado SS (my TBSS is 4,700lbs) and has an LS2 rather than the regular 6.0 truck motor. Stock 2wd TBSS's will run mid to high 13's and with a tune and an intake it WILL run neck and neck with the SRT-8 Jeep. "Most people leave them AWD" What??? you buy AWD or 2WD. Also, the Jeep SRT-8 is like 8-10 grand more that a TBSS. Check out TBSSowners.com and report back after you have educated yourself.

ive done plenty of research for the srt8 gc , a stock tbss runs low 15's because the ss silverado's run 15 flat or close to it. a srt8 runs mid to low 13's. an intake and tune might get you in the mid to low 14's with the tbss. most people leave them in awd. i like tbss but for a few grand more you can get a srt8 gc

Do some research, the TBSS can be had in 2WD and AWD. 2WD is up to a 1/2 second difference in the quarter. All that is needed is a tune and an intake and they are door to door. My friend has a GC SRT-8 and we've run them many times with the same results. SRT-8 jumps out a half car from a dig and by 80 we are door to door.

TBSS had to let off in 1st gear. You can hear the BOV pop-off at that point. :)
