i have a gti 1.8t and when i had some mods i would destroy srt4 better known as neons and now i pull trains on them so and the idiot that said some crap about buying a srt4 4 20gs good luck cuz the cheapest ive seen them 4 is 23 and i got my gti out the door with 0 miles 4 19 with every thing and plus srt4's are just slow

some of yalls posts r stupid....yes srt-4's rnt that bad...but still a neon and who wants to drive a neon...vw gti's umm yea heavy but if u know how to drive it it really doesnt matter...i whoop srt-4's with my vr6...no turbo, at the end u have to learn to drive idiots

what does that have anything to do with this vid? srt-4 ftw. yea you can keep up with a BONE STOCK srt with a tune and exhaust but in the end.. open up your little check book.. how much for a Jetta?? THEN how much for the mods?? all that just to keep up with a $20 G srt.. losers. Jettas are for girls

Take an Audi to 150+ then see what the diff is. Neon 150 = No control bouncing rattling pos. Audi 150+ = chillin, little wind noise. Bout it.

SRT-4 are real quick with a couple of mods and 1.8ts are no slouches. If the car is quick then just respect it and who cares what it is.............
Even with the electrical problems with the vdubs just take the gti and SRT ver 100mph+ and see which one is more solid. Close the door on the gti and close the door on the srt-4. I've owned both get over it. The interiors on the VW are much better plain and simple.
Tired of the childish people on here. There should be an age limit on these boards

don't know about a vw with a tune and turbo back keeping up. think you need a little more. or ya vw interior is better all rattles and noise and electrical problems, plus gotta love vw trade mark of the front windows just falling out of the tracks! yes good quality indeed!!!
