ooWRCoo drives a '02 WRX. Wow!... a whopping 227 hp stock, how pathetic is that for the price? Top it off with the performance worlds worst and I mean absolutely worst transmission!...they suck and blow out at only 5-thousand miles. Don't even think to mod that car without first doing some serious tranny upgrades. Also their abs system engages prematurely, gonna' need new brakes at only 12k miles, the ac condenser will fail every 2-yrs and the drivers side power window motor has to be replaced often...that's some piece of quality you drive there! LOL!

My guess he's been smoked by so many stock SRT-4's he's got a bit of an identity crisis going on. He feels he paid way too much for a piece of s**t Subaru. Yeah the new STI's are pretty sweet but an older WRX ...PUHLEEEEEEEEZE!

If they made the srt4 AWD it wouldnt have costed $21k brand new and why do people hate on them? their one of the strongest turbo 4bangers you can get right now the same people who make THE EVO designed and built the motor a nd it uses their turbo c'mon now THINK!

eh. it can't hold 550hp. I can almost guarentee that. BTW, have you ever he ard of the MKIV engine? Yeah, buddy, it's a Supra engine and they are VERY well known to rarely break. Show me proof that 550hp on a dyno sheet with out the turbo blowing up. O.o

Well, you realize that you spelled "Neon" wrong, and technically (according to Dodge) it isn't just a "Neon" it's an SRT-4. But stock vs. stock again st a Civic really isn't a stock vs. stock race then would it? Civics are n aturally aspirated, buddy; while the SRT-4 sports a Mitsubishi turbo.

Here's the thing with the SRT-4. It is a great car for the money, and yes the STI is more expensive, but it also has more going for it. They should have made the SRT-4 all wheel drive. It would have given EVO's and STI's fits! Dodge said that the Caliber SRT-4 was suppose to be a true all-wheel drive 300 HP car, but now it's going to be a front driver! Come on Dodge, give us what we want! I just hope the Challenger lives up to all of it's hype, (you better give us a 6 speed)!

they hate the srt-4 becuz its FAST neon, thats why they say "still a neon" and the srt-4 has the strongest built 4cyl in production...... HOW many cars(not just 4 cyl.) u know come with a 550hp block STOCK?!? Thats why they hate on it
