You get what you pay for, how much does an SLR cost again??? I'm pretty sure every one of the cars you just mentioned costs a pretty penny more than an M5. I don't think that SLR are as stunning as i'd expect my 400,000 dollar car to be. I would most definitely have a carrera GT instead if u wish to compare apples to apples...

every bmw brings up bmw is more of a driver car and its better on track that u gotta look at it this way benz isnt making there cars to handle good on track they make there cars with tons of power and tons of comfort u wont track car buy clk-dtm street version or clk-gtr or slr i think those cars will handle little bit better then bmw don't u think :)

but look at this m5 maybe is better on track but sl has same comfort at s600 and is faster then new z06 that is hard to beat wonder that sl65 amg would do to m5 e60
