The factory is truly amazing because its located in a remote region of Siberia!! These really are the greatest trucks in the world.

true, allthough it must be said, that the Official Kamaz team winning the paris - dakar rally was a professional team with profesionnal drivers with loads of experience. the dutch gaulioses DAF team with relative amateur drivers and engineers was able to keep up with them and finnish all stages aswell, they ended up 2nd behidn the professional Kamaz trucks. the private Kamaz trucks ended up behind the DAFs again.

no doubt though that this truck is the most relieable in the world :)

KAMAZ trucks are the only trucks in the world that can operate in super cold -60 celsius temperatures all the way to a very hot +50 celsius temperatures. They are so tough that in the Paris - Dakar rally U.S military spec trucks that were entered in the race were unable to finnish the rally while civilian spec KAMAZ trucks finished and won in its class. I had the opportunity to travel 900km in a 30yr old KAMAZ in Siberia through the worst terrian you could imagine. Incredible trucks!
