Some of you guys make it sound like the peak horsepower number is all that matters. 50 HP peak could also come with 75hp under the curve. The Viper would likely make a lot more average power than the supra even if the peak HP numbers were the same. Also it looks like the supra shut down early.

Lets look at some other facts then. 345DRs vs street tire, super charged v10 vs inline 6 w/Large turbo no brake boosting. The slight hit the viper gets he hooks and comes into instant power. The Supra then gets about 1~ second of lag comes into power and spins a little. I also hope u dont think the supra was on it as long as the viper

ya the viper did get a litle jump but not by much. the supras frontend come up right away..what i am trying to say is look howmany truck lengths were put in that run.. no way with a 50hp difference can there b that much of a difference. its just an observation.

Every race has been set up.. if by set up u mean discussed, worked out and lined up. The viper got a hit on the supra so its not a clean run, but that happens alot on the street... After the first run the supra owner agreed the viper was faster and that they didnt need to rerun it.
