The 135i beats the new Evo X easily even though I love the Evo X. The 135i is what'll be in my driveway in half a year because I'd rather deal with BMW's customer service at the dealerships than Mitsu's dealerships which are pricks. I dealt with a shitty service dept. from a Mitsu dealership for the past 6 years, I want a service dept. that'll treat me like an actual customer and not a nuisance.

97stang. bmw is trying to go back to the 3 series roots. bmw has brought the 3 series so far up market that they have lost the original "small car" formula. the current 3 series is actually as big as the old 5 series and is financially out of reach for most. bmw needs this car to keep the younger "new college grad" demographic that they once had in spades. this car is a smart move for bmw

don't get me wrong the car is hot but it's still not making sense because this car won't have a rival. the 3 series have majority of the rivals. this car is a 3 liter with 300hp AND it has a twin turbo with a 6 sp manual or auto. the only rival it may have is the new Evo but with the technology that the Evo has, this car won't keep up with it. the 3 series won't even keep up with it unless the Evo is stock but who has a stock Evo nowadays?

what doesn't make sense is that BMWs always started from the 3 series. why did they take the number all the way down to 135?
