gt all the way! its the fastest of the three, and thats been proven in all the mags. not buy much but a win is a win. allso id like to point out it has the smaller motor of the three and is 400lbs heavier than the vett and still takes it. alltho it aint cheap. but will hold the value much better than the vett. but all three are realy great cars and everyone has there own opinion. and thats why they make so many diff. cars. lol so thers realy nothing to argue about. its just a matter of what can your wallet stand....lol

Yeah well the same could be said for the other two also, so what's the point?
Biggest problem to me looks like the guy gets more aggressive as he gets familiar with the track, by the time he is in the GT he is sliding in the turns squeeling tires but silent mostly in the first two.
All three cars are great and likely would have finished in whatever order he tried them in.

Pretty good comparason of the three, but I know a few select Viper drivers that could get that SRT a secord or so faster then what that guy drove in the vid.

You can get a used C6Z now with 15K miles for upper 50's. In a year from now expect them to be mid to upper 40's. GM has flooded the market with the C6(and Z) and with the 08's coming out with the LS3, the C6 should take another hit. Demand will also cut in half once the anticipated super Vette hits the streets.

Well the C&D test you refer to was using the SRT10 convertible. Of course at 150 the Viper is going to slow down a bit because it has a fabric roof. The coupe will do a lot better though. But as for lower end speed, in the 1/4 mile I have seen many SRT10's beat C6Z06's as I have seen Z06's beat SRT10's. And one time I witnessed them both click off 11.7 at the exact same time, side by side, the Viper did 11.77 @ 118 and the Z06 did 11.78 @119. Its pretty close in the quarter mile between these two cars, the Z06 has a better top speed though. And as for the Ford GT, Motor trend did a side by side comparison with the GT and SRT10 a few years back. Strangely, both cars ran 11.7 as well. The article is still available for viewing on their website under archives.

first of all,all those cars are great.the gt has an amazing body,as does the other two cars.second of all,the gt has about the same performance as the z06.car and driver proves it.they both ran 11.7's.the viper pulled 12.1.the viper is a great car,but not quite up to speed as the other two.when c&d tested those cars, the viper hit 150 in 20.2 sec,as the vette hit the same speed in 17.7 sec.big difference.but again,it all depends on driver.but in reality,id take the vette, although dealers are currently asking 80 grand for them, even in el paso tx.then by a super chip,so u can add alittle more power.vette winds, hands down.the gas milleage is better in the vette too.and by the way,the vette exact displacement is A 428,7.0 LITRE
