I used to own a MKIV GTI and i loved it.. "once you go dub you dont go back" and im still into the vw scene even though i have an evo ix mr now, i still recive Eurotuner and im on Vwvortex just as much as i am on evolutionm... The evo is nothing but raw preformance and the Gti has some preformance but it is more refined on the inside and it is a better built car in a sense of interior, body ect.. just my .02

EVO is faster...So what! It's not a good looking car, and the design is out of proportion. It's just another fast car with bad look. Great for tasteless people.
