First of all, Ive been tunning Nissans for about 10 Years now, so Im not a newb retard like some of you apear to be. I actually joined this site to leave this comment. Big ups 636specman. Your one of the few that actually paid the money to do this swap. Me Im happy enough with my 04's VQ. Now to the point; First, that clear as a bell sound of a cold air tells us one thing for sure ( even without seeing the video this guy posted with a complete walk around) IT IS A VQ!!! You want more proof? Open up a QR2.5 over 5200 RPM. Here that nasty little sound? Thats the secondary butterflies opening. To all you dont know crap about Nissans guys, VQ'S DONT HAVE THEM!!!! This is why YOU DONT HEAR THEM!!! Second, if some of you here are thinking there is no way that an ION could beat a 350Z, thats because the 3.5 front wheel drive platform engine has a little less power then the rear wheel motor in the Z. The Z has a more agressive cam from factory as well as a larger throttle body and intake manifold. Please, if you are going to run your mouth about someone elses machine DO YOUR HOME WORK!!!!!
