I thought they were supercharged? I'm not trying to clown, just saying. BTW, with a auto, it's easier to launch. Powerbrake it!!

To SkylinesSuck - Not to be a smartass but my Cobalt has an automatic transmission. I can't bring to RPMs up to 3k or whatever. Like I said, the car was all stock and it was my 1st time. I jumped to early cause I was nervous. Yeah I know my cobalt is slow but it gets me around to where I need to go.

the plain SS is rated at 170 horsepower or so i would think i that is about right

Well, you said it was your first time, so I'll give you that. 16.2 @ 85?? That's pretty slow man. I don't like cobalts, but it should be a lot faster than that. Everything running ok? You should be running low 15's at the very least (I think, or are cobalts just that slow?)
