I had one a while back - bought brand new (3 miles on ODO) & the following was replaced w/n 18 months:top ½ of the engine {dealer's words} (twice) , entire front suspension (twice), brakes (once under warranty, again on my own), power driver's window motor once (needed replaced again once it was traded in), dash had a rattle that was never fixed, paint peeled & chipped, cylinder 3 lost compresion twice, driver's headlight bulb blew 3 times, passenger bulb once & it needed a fuel injecter when I traded it. I used 2 weeks of vacation getting that POS fixed - even stayed at the dealership more than once for an entire day to make sure it was fixed (not that it mattered).Looked at a 07 Mazda 5 - opened the hood & found a couple plastic pieces on the top of the engine. Never again will I wast $ on a Mazda

wow stop blaming mazdas jus cuz u f'd urs up cuz my dad owns a 2005 mazda 6 and has had no problems with it u jus probably suc at takin care of one
Ummm You say they gave you a "Blown Motor they said would work" S o this means the motor was already blown but repaired Obviously not good e nough) The Engine was mostlikely abused the first time it Blew (Takes quit e a bit to Blow a New motor, I geuss it was eithor Hydro lock or overboost ), and I bet you were having some "Fun" With her it being your B -Day and all and You just Finished off a already F-ed motor.
