The cops at the start probably weren't real. However the driving is real. T he reason there's nobody in the streets is because it's 5 o'clock in the m orning when almost everybody is in their beds sleeping.I still think this one and the 2nd Getaway with the Supra and Cosworth are the best. And Henr ynator, I bet you would crash this car at the very first corner trying to drive like this.I bet you're just some 12year old kid who has never driven anything but his bike.

I agree.. But one thing with this movie.. I suspect that half of "geta way sthlm-movies" is with fake cops... I Mean, take the red volvo for example.. you hear the siren but dosent see anyone on the car??

It's not so much the police, it's the roads. European city such as stockhol m were around about 1700 years before the car was invented. The streets ar e a tight maze of interconnecting one way streets alleys and foot pathes. Which when your driving the right car, case in point a 1997 911 turbo the chase lends itself to a whole new dimention of speed and fun! Not to menti on a chance to get away!

lucky for us in the states. we have under cover beefed up ls1 under cover cars and other high performance police cars. but like someone else stated . its setup come on the guy had 3 camcorders on his car... dont be so gul lible

he drives like a pro but the downshifts r way too hard at times. Hes right, in the sates, u will never get away with this. other country police just suck.
