What I mean by "stock" is stock valve body. And I have seen several LTx and LSx-powered cars with a stock valve body, stall and gears that held up after numerous 1/4 passes. A member of my club (Team F-Body) runs a LQ9-block cammed LS1 and turns 11.90s on drag-radials with the stock v-body. Leave this stuff to a GM expert buddy ;)

Yeah and then blow the stock tranny to pieces. Thay barely hold together behind a stock motor let alone anything like tony's. Besides, that isn't the stock trans anyways.

That's one thing I love about F-bodies. You can go REAL fast with a basically stock tranny. Just slap a big converter and gears and it's launch time!
