all i have to say is..nice victory for the GTP, im impressed.

I was the one in the GTP. My car has an XP cam, Stage 2 intercooler, fully built tranny, 3.29 gears, 3200 stall, and fully exhaust, and i was on only 10psi and it is still fairly untuned, and ive only been able to run a 12.9 @106, which sucks for my mods....it should be a mid-low 12 second car once tuned.......I ran 14.7 stock.....i love it how everyone things that GTP's are slow!! Mine looks totally stock, but has a lot of work under the hood....dont under-estimate the 4-door grocery getter!! Oh and to the guy who said i would have lost from a did, think again, im pulling consistant 1.8 60' times and with my D/R's im shooting for 1.7's!!! If you dont believe me then check out the GP forum and see for yourself! Just look for "BadAssGTP4U" or "OneSloGtp" and thats me!

Yep, lightnings make a sh*t load of torque. It would easily pulled away form the gtp.

I have less than $600 in my car and can make GT mustangs wonder what in the hell just happened and why they just lost to a 4-door family car...

i have an 05 monte carlo ss supercharged i have a few lil mods on mine(3.4 pulley,ecu,dp,new plugs,and a tstat) the fastest i have run is a 14.7 that was also my first time at the track.My car can be a low 14 car.i just need more practice,04 gtp is right it aint hard to get these cars fast with minor boltons. gotta love the 3.8's

I have a 05 GTP and I'd say stock is more like 15 give or take .5 sec. And thats not just a Ford it is a lightning. One of the only good pickups out there.

Meh, try like 14's stock, maybe even 13's with good track prep and driver.

Cowboy, WTF are you smokin? If you knew how to read, you'd see that the lightning has an intake and a pulley swap. Also stock GTP's in the 16's??? That is the stupidest comment I've ever seen.

must be at the same track gtps are 16 second cars but almighty vtec runs 9s...
