I love my lt1. its a 95 Z28 stock with 12700... miles and it is very strong. I raced a 2002 GT from a 50mph roll and I smoked him.

+1 for the LT1!!! you can get good #s out of them,i have a 96 Z28 with 293 rwhp and 306 rwtq with simple bolt-ons and free mods

Yes they do. I prefer the LT1. Obviously, that's what I drove forever. I'd rather have that block because it seems like you can get away with more with it. I think it's stronger. Just my opionon though. I have a project 94' TA right now at 350hp out of an LT1.

Who cares, the lt1 keep up (and we are told won) with the "mighty" ls1. People COMPLETELY underestimate the lt1 engine.
