ummm I'm not sure what tranny he's using in this clip...I've been on some forums and there are supposedly some older grand prixs that had a 5 speed and were really rare to come across..The people I know mating a 5 speed to a northstar used the "Getrag" 5-speed tranny out of the beretta but they were using it in kit cars and other random projects and not in a real car but I'm sure it's do-able in a aurora

yeah caddy has been doing this for a while. but oldsmobile threw a V8 in the tornado back in 1966!! Nothings new about a powerful FWD V8!!

I don't think it'll be that bad...if someone put a northstar in a cobalt or cavalier or something then it'll be hell keeping that thing str8 lol..the only biggest concern I can see is the extra weight of a bigger motor upsetting the car's weight balance..I was once oppose to FWD V8's till I realized awhile back that for just about a decade cadillac been using that fwd V8 setup

Something about V8 and front wheel drive just doesn't agree with me. I bet that thing would be a handful with all the torque steer you'd probably have to deal with.

let alone by time you finish putting all that money into this swap you can have a 11 sec car with the L67...it sounds nice tho..I'm sure it's better in person cause I don't think the the mic on his cam did it any justice

It's a good swap if you want something different but performance wise I would have stuck with the original L67 cause all you'll need to run down a cadillac is a CAI (I know cause I ran them all the time lol) if that even...I'm actually in the process of swapping out my L67 for a LS4..if it's gonna fit like this NS then I should be ok (hopefully)
