I totally agree, any car is capable all it takes is money and skill. However I just thought it was funny how everybodys answer to the zr1 was this hyped up spec v. You know factory modified vs factory modified. I also think it's funny how ricers always say who cares about (anything their prized import can't do well) it's always about what it can do considering price or # of cylinders. Stupid

Heads up A handling packedge from LPE and and prochardger on a 09 56k$$ C6 = 70-75,000 est get a clue "GTR GTR GTR" srsly who gives a D@mn really no one needs a GTR or ZO6 or Even A GTR..LPE,BMR,SLP,Katech,MTI all have handling pakedges for track and daily use if your so conserned about track times why not pic something like a base vette a lotus Elise,Exige, my question for you...r u ever going to run laps at the nurburgring ? ...probably not i can easly say that a 09 436 hp vette with tires and a suspension and areo packedge is more than enough for a GTR let alone adding a procharger to it ..no need to argue about it anycar is capable its who has the skill and knowledge who runs the best Lap times

who cares what cars will beat it on the drag strip or top speed. what cars will beat it on a road course i garauntee you cant find one that is in the same price range for that matter thats not $30,000 more

Why are you all comparing a 4 seat GT car with out and out sports cars?

For one the GTR doesn't destroy the other cars that's a big word. And now without the Launch control (which you can't use unless you don't want a warranty) they are going to be slower. The standard brakes on the ZR1 cost $20,000. So without them the Corvette would have been about $80,000. That option alone on the GTR is going to make it over $90,000. The Ring is owned by Dodge Viper then ZR1 which was ran on the ring by a engineer. The GTR was driven by Millen. Does the GTR do 0-60 in 3.3 1/4 11.2 Top speed 205mph. The GTR truly gets destroyed after 120mph.

I don't understand how you are classing the $77,000 GTR with the $110,000 ZR1 and $99,000 ACR Viper. The GTR destroyed everything else in its price range, period. Now imagine that $77,000 GTR with $33,000 worth of parts to equal the price of the ZR1.......

though that being said, it's not like you guys aren't buying them (they're sold out)
